Removing the tabs required the use of my Dremel and slowly grinding them down until they were gone. To get rid of the slag, I used a file to scrape the it off until it was practically gone, and than a deburring tool was used to take off the remaining slag.
Cutting the Pie Panels from the R2 Dome
I learned what I should and shouldnt do when cutting pie panels out. The best thing I could say is when using a dremel, at least tape off the metal to avoid scratching the dome like I did. Keep the dremel at a medium speed because it tends to jump a bit. Go slow with this and take your time and it will turn out all right.
Soldering the Arduino to the RFL on a Teeces V3.2
The lighting system works off of the Arduino Pro Mini from sparkfun.com and can be found HERE To get this to work, it needs to have a 5pin header soldered to it and then soldered to the PCB of the RFL. Once, the header is soldered, it would be a good idea to program a sketch into the Pro Mini. We need an FTDI, Mini USB programing cable, a driver for the FTDI, and the Arduino Program Software.
